What should I expect?
This is a casual tournament that doesn't fit any of the classic EDH brackets.
The decks will be strong, but the main aim is fun & balance, hence the banning Sol Ring & Game Changers.
We also do not encourage hardcore Stax (lockout/denial), as this drags out games & reduces fun/playability for others. The judge will view decklists online before the day to aim to discuss anything too oppressive.
Imagine Bracket 3-4 Decks, but with no Game Changers or Sol Ring, that's all it is! (see Deck Building Advice page)
The reason for limiting Stax is aiming to limit un-fun-play-patterns for others. So try not to be TOO AWFUL to your fellow competitors ha, YOU KNOW if you have a super-oppressive deck 😆
